Kyb AGX or Koni Yellows?
I have a 99 4dr. Civic dropped on Skunk2 Lowering springs(approximately about a 2.5 inch drop) w/ my stock shocks. My stock shocks r blown and i need neew shocks. I was thinking about getting the Koni Yellows, but there kinda too expensive. I might get the Kyb Agx shocks because there almost there like the same thing as the Koni yellows, but cheaper. What's the difference between the 2 shocks?
Koni has a lifetime warranty, and no "limit" on altered ride height. They also have the best customer service ever. One of their major reps is on H-T all the time, and is always willing to help out if you've got questions...
Not only do the the Koni's have a larger range of asjustment from full soft to full stiff, they also have more Low speed damping (which is a good thing).

well you've sold me...
lifetime warranty alone is a HUGE factor ... this tipped the scales enough for me to go ahead and purchase the yellows.

There really isn't a comparison, though, if all it's for is street driving, you could probably get away with using KYB's.
also depends on your springrate, b/c konis can handle way more spring than AGX's can.
the AGX's are like the Ford Taurus of shocks. get you where you want to go, pretty comfortably and for a reasonable cost, but the Koni's are more like an M3, comfortable, high performance, yet not outrageously expensive like a Moton/Ferrari, if that makes any sense.

agx warranty is also voided if coilover sleeves are used.
As everyone else is saying, there's really no comparison. Koni offers better warranty, better customer service (CRX Lee here on HT is excellent for answering questions and offering advice), better damping adjustment range, you can drop lower, and you can have them rebuilt/revalved to match pretty much whatever you're doing.
