Default 87 VFR700 F2 Interceptor Regulator/Rectifier

Does anyone have one to sell? If not does anyone know if anyother honda bike or bike in general has a rectifier that will work with my bikes? Need a cheap fix...

I have no clue, but I just purchased a 87 as well and need a few parts. Do you have any idea where to pick up some used parts, headlight assembly, mirrors, and turn signals?

Look on ebay, sportbikerecycler.com, and also do a search for cbr, fireblade, f4i websites. I just got one last week off ebay new with warranty shipped to my door in one day for $107

I believe the 600, 750 and 900 rectifiers wiil work on your bike.

buy a small heatsink fan combo, get some thermal grease and mount it on the new regulator that way the new one wont overheat and die on you like the last one........ It's a common problem on honda bikes unfortunately. I have been lucky though 4 honda bikes and I havent had one die on me yet.

are you sayin the cbr 600/750/900 or a VFR?? yeah I was either planning on putting up a fan or moving it to a spot where there is more airflow. A good place for replacement parts is bikebandit.com but they charge up the ***

The first rectifier I bought used on ebay for $68 shipped, it lasted a year and a half. Someone at the dealer told me a new one lasts 5-6 years. If that's true then I would recommend that u buy a new one. Yeah it may be a problem even on the new bikes. In 2003 a guy I know bought a brand new 02 954 and he had to replace his in the spring of 03, DAMN!!!
