LINK: Rim choice vs Turbo
I just made a post in the *bling bling* wheel/suspension section, but I wanted more FI tech I think rather then the "yeah those are cool" tech.

Car will hopefully put down 400whp. Thats the goal at least...

What are you talking about.
I was concerned with high output hp motors vs light wheels.
I wouldnt consider a tire tech a car tech, thats why the post is here.
Thanks for the wasted reply
If you noticed already in the post in the wheels/tires the first guy says "yeah they look cool" do I care how they look or do I care how they preform.
There are more users in FI that have a better idea of how things work vs how things look!

They will help with traction in that they take more force to accelerate so your car is slower
That's about all they help with...

But if you are putting m4d HP to the wh33ls then it probably does not matter much.
If I was buying new wheels I would go wider than 6.5"... then you can run wider tires and get more traction that way...

the size of the wheel (height and width) is more important then the weight really. It's nice to have light wheels, but usually you don't have a choice, unlike sizing.
