Default quick exhaust fitment question

i drive a 2000 gsr, my friend drives a 94 ls/rs/gs whatever. Hes selling his greddy evo exhaust (he is auto, i am 5 speed) for 100 bucks.

- will it bolt right up?
- if not (im assuming it doesnt) what kinda modification is necessary?
- what do you guys think of the evo? am i gotta get arrested and jailed for noise?
- 100 bucks seems damn good too me... your thoughts.

thanks in advance guys, sorry for the newbert question, ive heard lots of conflicting stuff about exhasut fitments.

eeep, upon further research... ive concluded that the exhaust will fit... and bolt up. So my question now becomes... should i do it? or save up and do somethign else.

ALSO, does anyone know the piping diameter? 2.25? Id kinda wanted the full 2.5 inch system, jdm itr header and all... but this could be a deal... i think. opinions welcomed

Yeah it should fit because I have a 01 GSR and I traded my friend my Invidia exhaust for his tanabe G meadillion off his 94 ls and it bolts right onn.

like I quoted in another thread, I heard that the greddy exhausts fall apart after a year, the resonator cubes shoot out the exhaust, not saying this is true, but I heard this, but for 100 bucks cant beat that deal

The Evo will do fine, especially for $100. I had one on my 2000 GSR and liked it a lot, it can be a little loud under full throttle, but I am old and have sensitive ears. I had it on my car for over 3 years and never had a problem with the resonator sending it's packing out of the muffler, maybe there are defective ones out there, but I have always had good luck with greddy/trust products.

It will bolt up perfectly, and the piping is 60mm (2.36 inches). It is big enough that it will work well if you ever want to get an 2.5" collector header. Although you will have to do some mods for that to work when the day comes.

I never got pulled over for exhaust alone, I had cops mention the exhaust upon seeing it (in Virginia) after they pulled me over for either speeding or no front plate. I had it in CA for 1 year as well and was never given any problems about noise.
