Default Toyota Tranny in Prelude

Is it possible to put a Toyota automatic in a Gen 5 Prelude? I have an automatic Prelude and have been told that you have to do a manual swap to turbo the car. As manual swaps are somewhat expensive and time consuming I was wondering if you can drop a Toyota automatic transmission that can handle more power than the Honda automatic transmissions would be doable.

Try that I would like to see.
Or just drop a Prelude engine into a Supra, might be easier

it might be possible, but i doubt its just a drop in tranny. there might be one that works, but i think it would be a lot easier and cheaper to drop in the normal tranny OR sell the car and get a 5 speed.

If you are worried about your tranny..Buy an OEM rebuild kit and cryo treat the rebuild kit.

It can be done, just don't forget to replace the muffler bearings while you're in there.
