Default using msd blaster coil without msd box, makes any different?

as title stated, i want to take out the stock external coil off and switch it to the blaster 2 coil by splicing those stock wires. Would it sparks more or it's the same unelss i install the 6al?

beside..i just installed my msd 6al. I was wondering if there's a better coil wire instead of using the stock black short coil wire?

I found the coil really doesnt make much difference, but if you already have one then you may as well use it.
I've been using NGK wires for about 4 years with no problems.

If you're straining the ignition at higher RPM's, a coil is the best mod you can do. We always upgrade the stock coil on boosted hondas and cars that rev past the stock limit, that plus gapping the plugs tighter almost always eliminates any ignition breakup. On a minor bolt-on car you shouldn't see much of a difference, although you will see better gas mileage if you run an ignition.

I have used the jacobs system.. save your money and spend it on either NGK or Magnacore wires..MSD works ok.. but if you decide later to go standalone.. go with coil on plug.. I will be doing this conversion later..
