Default GSR with YS1 Tranny

I'm goin to buy a gsr here in a few months and i want to get a YS1 tranny so i dont have to get a cable to hydraulic conversion. Pros and Cons of the YS1. Good idea or Bad? Thanks

ys1 is a good tranny.. the only thing i didnt like about it is that the gears are so short that going 80 in fifth rpms were at like almost 5000

one of the most wanted cable trannys. super tight gearing. you can pass cars on the hwy without downshifting.

4500 to be exact
5500-100
6500-120
7000-126-30 ish

on ls of course...

Since it is so high reving can i just put a ls 5th gear in it kinda like an over drive so that on the highway i wont be at such high rpms or will that not work ? Good idea or bad idea since it will be a daily driver. OH yeah and its goin in a crx but i figure id come and see the wisdom of u teg guys. But this is goin to be my first motor so any and all help wanted and pros cons of everything. THings that work and things that just suck ***. Let me know it all. thanks
