JDM Type R Head on JDM B18C block
I planing on ordering crower 402 cams, pistons, rods, IM, gears, the works within the upcoming month or two. Do you guys think it would be worth it to get the type r head and use that as well or should i just keep my b18c head and build off that?

when you say b18c i assume you are talking about the c1 gsr head, and in that case, keep the gsr head and build that. Once its ported and you change mani's its got the potential to really make some good power(not that it doesnt have the potential otherwise). Have someone knowledgable do your headwork and you wont be sorry.
well i have a full jdm b18c, which is yah pretty much the b18c1. so theres no point in putting a type r cylinder head on it? would it not make more power? sorry i've never really seen this done, that's why i'm curious.

With money you'd spend on a type r head you could get the gsr ported and a new mani/tb setup.
But if you really want a type r casting i gotta b16 head i'm willing to trade you
