new set-up ????'s
I Just bought on 05 honda cr-v with the stock 6 speakers and factory 6 disc in dash
and just added a 12" sub and amp soo i can a little extra kick.
This guy made a custom box for me. fiberglass on the bottom and boarded up top.
My Questions:
If the amp hi-low input was wired to front speakers instead of the rear speakers would it alter sound any.
Reason i ask this is because the front also has the in-dash tweeters, and i dont
know if they have like a built in crossover in the stock head unit.
If there is a sealed box facing up... would carpet make an affect on sound?
heres a pic of the product.. sorry for the picture quality (phone)

Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance</TD></TR></TABLE>Can't bring up the pix, The x-over is probably on the tweeters themselves, [cap] so wiring the amp from the fronts or rears will not make a diff.
I'm not sure I understand about the box and carpet.

are you saying you want to use the amp for your front speakers and the sub? or just the front speakers? or just the sub? Pick of the of the sets, you can't do both. Well, you can, but it is highly discouraged!
