If a spoon head gasket is 0.4mm.. then H22A should be thicker??

so.. anyone know it.. for non SH prelude..

get out the micrometer and measure the damn thing. a cheapo one could be had for around 45-60 bucks. good ones are 90-200

also.. what is stock bore size.. for 97-01 Prelude non SH... 87mm is it?

 

yup pretty sure its 87 mm

 

just about positive that the OEM bore size for the gasket, not the motor, is 88mm. other than that measure the head gasket squished one the motor to find out.

Yeah, the headgasket bore is always 1mm larger than the cylinder bore...

 

Does nobody really know the damn head gasket thickness? I'm very disappointed with the people here on honda-tech....
