Default shaky speedo on 92 DA

ok I am aware that on the DA the speedometer is controlled by a cable. but after I warm up my car and im off for the day, my speedo is shaking up and down for a while, then after running for a few miles, it becomes normal without the shaking, but sometimes it just comes back. so my question is, is there any way to fix this at all to stop the shaking ?

replace the cable or grease the cable ends. both procedures can be found by searching on http://www.g2ic.com

the grease inside becomes dry and the cable inside does not turn as easily...this also creates the noise you here. my DA has had this problem for a while...i guess it doesn't bother me too much.
