I wouldnt put money into Skunk2, they arent even manufactured by Skunk2, they are an outside company that labels them post-manufacture, i suggest you aim toward something by Neuspeed, H&R, or Eibach. Tein springs are decent but their lower levels of springs, their cheaper sets are made the same way the skunk2's are, outside of their plant.

MAAAAAAAD stiff, and not even that quality. Go with Sprints, Tanabes or Teins if you want stock struts to last.

I dont know about sprints, ive had problems with them in the past, but tanabe's should be good, ive never heard any negative press about those. Tein, like i said, if you go with the lower quality joints, you will get what you pay for.

I am looking to keep my stock struts so what is going to be the best call for a 1.5 to 2.0 inch drop? If needed would go 2.5 !!

man, stock struts, wow, the best you can go with them, if you want them to last a little longer than a year or so before blowing out, i suggest the sof sports, remember, the lesser the drop, the longer the struts will last. If you are looking for 1.5 to 2.0 then your struts are doomed homey. I suggest you just save some dollars for a full coil-over system.

I am running H&r sports springs and agx shcoks. Love them to death but I want to change up the suspension and be a little different so I wil probably get these.

Taken from H&R website

H&R CUP kit
2.0front 1.75rear

"H&R Cup Kits are an ideal solution for those that want aggressive looks and impressive handling at an affordable price. H&R's Cup Kits are specially engineered from the ground up with custom-designed springs and shocks that are developed together to work in perfect harmony.

Unlike competitors spring and shock kits, H&R Cup Kits are not merely a 'matched' spring and shock package, but rather a specially engineered 'solution' with springs and shocks being engineered individually in every application. This takes the guess work out of your spring and shock selection, and provides you with an application specific, precisely calibrated spring and shock set designed to deliver improved handling, uncompromised ride comfort and sleek styling in one precision engineered package."

I have the Skunk 2 which are I believe are made by Eibach. As stated above I love the stance, but with any car when you lower it you are operating outside the factory struts capacity. Thus reducing the life of the strut. If you are going to lower your car do it right and put aftermarket struts on the car too.

Trust me you won't be sorry. I used stock struts with coilovers and springs and when I finally deceided to use aftermarket struts there was a world of difference. I have the Skunk 2 2.5 drop and Tokiko Illumina's and the car handles great. When I used the setting closest to the factory it was WAY too bouncy. Stiffen it up and it's a totally different car.

I could careless about a comfortable ride. I enjoy how the ride is on my agx and h&r sports. I plan on going stiffer 3f/6r. right now I am 2f/5r.

I have to agree, the eibachs ive used have done exactly that, the front doesnt even look likes its dropped whatsoever given some time. They are excellent at first but then shitty later on.
