GSR is DOHC bro, there is no way you will get a DOHC head on a SOHC block. Just buy the LS block and do a ls/vtec. thats just my .02cents

Hmm I've never actually tried running rods at the same time as pistons so I don't have a good answer for you

cant i use something to clampitt together good or drill the head bolts right?

dammit you got me whay didnt i think of that?

do you jbweld the headgasket in place too or do u not need it since JB weld is so strong.

edit - can i just make the hed out of jbweld and stick thes parkplugs and valves in it when it is setting k thx

The only time I did it I used the JB weld in lieu of the head gasket. I admit i did add a few bungee cords to hold the head on while the JB weld was drying (I was eager to drive the car).

cool thanks yfor the adivce how lond did you wait for the jbweld to set or did the jb weld hold it good

i got this head and i cant wait to swap it out. how much HP u think i get from it.

i hope the stock header bolts up to the gsr head - can i use jb weld there too or is it too hot

I think you should straight weld the head to the block. And just have some fat chick sit on the head just in case.

You need to get one of those JDM head gasket adapter thing-a-ma-jiggers.
Hell, with the adaper you can run (2) C32A NSX heads and go twin taaaaaabo.

fiberglass seems to work good for me. it can also be smoothed out and painted.
jb weld is a bit too strong for my liking. after all, its not a show car.

use lots of NOS stickers to keep the head from lifting off the block, you can take a couple dozen off my car
