Hi I just bought a used oem full set of springs a month or two back and I was just wondering how do I know which ones are the front springs and which ones are the back by looking at them? Thanks

 

I think with the front springs the coils are squeezed closer together.

Well a pair of springs are shorter than the other, so are the front springs the shorter one or the taller one?

 

I just looked at mine (off of a 99 Civic DX Coupe) and they were the same length. I just took this pic of on front and one rear. The front is on top. The front will have a larger diameter wire and more coils (closer wound) than the rear.

Front 11.5 coils
Rear 9.5 coils
