I have a 99 4dr Civic dropped on Skunk2 lowering springs(approximately a 2.5 in drop). My stock shocks are blown rite now and i was just wondering what kinda shocks should i get. I was thinking about the Koni yellows, but there too expensive and what is the point of getting adjustable shocks wen ur springs arn't adjustable? I was just thinking of getting the Tokico blues? Would it handle the compression?

 

Get the Koni Yellows, or atleast the AGX. The point is to adjust the damping to soften or stiffen the ride.

 

Doesn't sound like you care about performance. With that in mind, I highly doubt you will need/use the adjustment feature. Stick with the Tokico Blues---great quality shock, good price and full warranty.

i would stay away from tockio blues, i had them on my old hatch and your basically getting a stock feel, i would go with the kyb's so you can adjust the shock to the point where you like it.
