Default Race Prep B16 Short-Block Street/Strip Sale

For Sale:

This complete shortblock was used in my CRX Drag Car- It's in MINT condition, mildly used for two dyno sessions and three or four trips to the strip.

Specs:

JDM B16 First Gen Block (5 Million series)
Darton M-I-D Sleeve Kit
84mm Bore
Custom Wiseco Pistons/Rings [Comp Ratio will yield Approx 11.9-12.1 w/b16 head]
Eagle H-Beam Rods
Knife-edged/Lightened Crank
ACL Bearings
Pro-Drive ( CircuitWorx) Oil Pump Gear
Honda Genuine Water Pump - new

Oil used: OEM Honda Genuine ( Mobil ) 10w30 Conventional Motor Oil

Entire Rotating Assembly was balanced for High RPM, 84mm bore with stock stroke will yield not-quite a 1.8 litre, with my setup it produced 128 lbs of torque which is great for such small displacement.... The car ran an impressive 11.48@120.2 its first night out @ the track.

No Knocking, No Blow-by, No Oil Burning, runs great, gaurunteed. I work @ Honda, this block has seen nothing but love and attention from time of assembly.

This block in present state is ready to drop right in to any street or strip car- expect dyno numbers from the low-mid 190's on up depending on cams/octane/headwork ect. ect. With a bone stock head and mild cams it did 187 with only a/f tuning. The possibilites are endless, with proper valvetrain she could do 9,500 rpms no problem. It only ever saw 9,000 rpm due to the lack of a large cams but it revs like a motorcycle and makes up for the lack of displacement in lighting fast revs. 93 octane with a good tune would make this great for the street or run a little higher like 100 octane Sunoco for the strip. The block can still be bored an additional 1mm and larger pistons can be stuffed in if the new owner wants to boost or even give it more displacement, the options are endless!

I can't express enough how awesome this setup was, im very proud of it and what was accomplished, it's time to move on Im buying a house and need some $$$ for closing costs. Please email me @ towsonb16@hotmail.com or reply to this post if interested, right now im taking offers I'll go no lower then 2,000 unless It doesn't sell soon, this block will go fast. please respond via email if I don't p/m you back within a day and please post that your interested as well incase I don't see it, thanks for looking.

( Ill post pics shortly )

I suggest a no-closing cost mortgage & keep that beast!!! I've had at least 7 different mortgages in the 5.5 years I've owned my house, I've never paid closing cost on any of them. You just pay a bit more interest but closing costs are so high it would take like 4 years for the extra interest to add up to it, plus the interest is tax deductible, the closing costs aren't. Be loan savvy!

If you're talking about down payment money, well that's a bit different...
