When i thought the valve seals were leaking on my GSR i replaced them myself with beck and arnley brand seals. They worked great. About a year later after a a bottom end rebuild there is smoke on startup again.

Do you think it was the shitty seals?

Maybe a bad valve guide ruining the seals prematurely? IDK

Found out that some engine builders around me refuse to use Felpro

Also heard that some of the new honda valve seals suck too
