Default What Size Slipstreams?

Ok, right now i have 18 inch SR Racing Wheels on some Falken tires. I have multiple cracks on each rim and i am losing about 5 pounds of air per day on my tires. Its a long story and i just need new ****. My question is, i am low on money and i know everyone has em, but i was thinking Flat Gunmetal Slipstreams. What size do you all think, 15's or 16's, i have Tein suspension and i was planning on using Falken Azenies or w/e their called, so what size do yall think?

Depends on what you want, but theres not much difference between the sizes, personally, i'd go with 16s because it would be easier to get rid of the wheel gap.

Heres as a few things that'll help you out..
smaller wheels will give you better accel
lighter wheels will give you better everything
and for ever + size you go from stock wheels is -1 hp
and for every 18 pounds you add you also -1hp

Research tires as well.. Falken Azenis can get pretty pricy and i've herd don't do so great in the rain. you also want to go as light as you can - Rota Slipstreams are the 1st step.. i believe 16x7.5 weigh 14.5 pounds and 15x7s weigh 11 or 12 - You'll notice a difference from ur 18s

I would go with 15's man...the car will feel really good with that size and a lot quicker compare to ur 18's, being that theyre a lot lighter...as far as looks go, 16's look better because theyw wont leave much of a gap if your car is not "slamed".

It seems like there is a huge difference between 15's and 16's...man tough decision.

My advice on looks - If you've got some spare time goto the pics forum and check out what you like the best... i've seen a bunch of 'tegs with 15 and 16" slipstreams and they all look nice

Oh and 1 more thing.. theres always the tire too... the profile on ur tire will also play a huge part.. 16s with lowpro tires can look/be smaller than stock 15s

EDIT: Theres actually a silver DC with white slipstreams on page 120

I say 16's. 15's look too small to me and remind me of stock wheels.

PM the guy who owns it.. he'll tell you

I want the same rims as well... 16x7 white slipstreams.. they come in 40 or 42mm offset.. they only weigh around 14.5 pounds and you can get a set of 4 of them for around 500 bucks shipped
