Ok. We are almost a month away from the big meet. The meet will be held in Knoxville Tennessee on Friday March 15, Saturday 16, and Sunday 17. Start looking for hotels in the West Knoxville Area. We will be in the general location of West Knoxville. Mainly near West Town Mall. So when looking for a hotel, ask how far from West Town Mall they are. We will be picking a restaraunt to eat at on Friday night and then just hang out for a while. Saturday we will be heading to Pigeon Forge for a while and then maybe Gatlinburg. On Sunday there is a local auto-x in Oak Ridge(about 20 minutes from west town mall). If anyone has some questions or comments e-mail me or post a message up here.

We have just about any restuarant there is oher here in west knoxville. One of the highest Restuarant to people ratio cities in the country.

From the way I see it now, we should meet at the west town mall parking lot at around 5:00-6:00. The are tons of restraunts in that area. We have a Hooters, Couple of Mexican Restaraunts, an Applebees, Chili's, O'Charley's and various others. I believe there is about 5-10 hotels around as well. On Saturday, we can meet at a restaraunt to eat breakfast and then head up to pigeon forge for a good time. If you have never been to pigeon forge, it is a big tourist town. There is bungee jumping, go karts, miniture golf, shopping and so fourth. There is a Nascar speed park. It is pretty cool but a little pricey. It has Go Kart tracks and an arcade all centered around Nascar stuff. We can go to one of the Car museums. The best thing in pigeon forge is Fly Away. Fly away is a verticle wind tunnel that simulates parachuting. I dont think we can run out of things to do there. If any time left we can head up to Gatlinburd. We probably cant run Deal's Gap for two reasons. One it may be icy because it is in the Mountains, two Cops have started to frequent that area a lot now. So I think we may just want to stick with pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Now on Sunday we can meet up and eat again and for those of you who have to leave for home can go and if some of you want to play with your car can. There is a local auto-x that is about 20 minutes from west town mall. That is where I will be going. Please spread the word around to all your friends. This is a Honda/Acura meet, not just a CRX/EF Civic meet. I hope to have a big turn out.

ok for the north GA person here is there anyway that you can possibly meet me somewhere because i really don't my way around. like give an exit off 75 we can all meet on and then figures stuff out. i need a town to make hotel reservations at.

 

Ok Trinity. You are going to be coming by way of I-75 North right? Well from I-75 you will hit I-40 about 5 miles after the Lenoir City exit. Take I-40 through some of Knoxville and you will see West Hills Exit. Take the West Hills exit and it will practicly spit you out at the mall. You can see the mall once you get off the exit ramp. We will meet in the parking lot there. I am not sure which store we will meet in front of yet I will see soon. I will try to get a map posted up for everyone to see.

 

ok cool thanks for that info. i will only stay like saturday night probably. how far is pigeon forge from nashville? the reason i ask is because i tis a 4 hour drive from my house ( but that was going slow) and how late will we stay there?
