Default traction bar dilemma, Z10 vs Full-race

i drive a shitty d15b7 in my eg coupe, i'm already wheelhopping. i want it ready for my 84mm 'poor' (ERL) man's type-r on spray. i don't like breakin axles. so that's why i'm gonna use traction bars on my DXI. now i have one dilemma.

i was plannin on going to buy full-race traction bars because i heard only good things about it. but, i want to buy it this summer along with my kteller catback. i live in europe, so shipping is an issue. they only sell Z10 traction bars but for the same price as the full-race. i'd rather ship it all at once.

my question is, given the same price, wich would you choose and most importantly WHY!??

I have had both, full-race much better it doesnt mount on the bolt that goes through the fork it mounts to the bolt behind it. When you turn the wheel all they way it wont hit the tire, my z-10 rubbed the tire, 15" wheels&tires

full-race =

I have the full race, and love them. A lot of people have been holeshshotted

With that said, my tires DO hit the radius arms when I am making a very tight turn, such as in a parkinglot. It is only noticeable then, and at no other time. I run 205/50/15's and they do rub... no big deal though... I like em!

if they rub it might be from the offset of your wheel? We have tested many wheel/tire combinations with great clearance but it is hard to test all combos. Jeff evans runs a 235/50 15 on his hatch using rota 15x7 slipstreams and they clear just fine. I run 255/50/16 on my civic with 16x7 slips and they rub the frame rail, not the bars...

I have a dc2 I would be purchasing the traction bars for..... would the full race not have any binding or rubbing issues (correct geometry, etc)?

I autox as well as drag and do some lapping days here and there...

I would be running 225/50/15, 225/45/15, and 245/50/15's...

btw, where did that guy find 235/50/15's at?

I have15x6.5 Rota Group N's which have a +40mm offset I believe.

Also I do not have any problems with the Full-Race bars binding at all, and I have driven my car very hard...

There are no binding or rubbing issues with our traction bars, so they will work well on your DC.

The 235s Jeff used i think were actually 235 55 if i remember correctly, and its a BFG drag radial, not recomended for anything but going straight very fast

i do not feel that your 245 will rub on the traction bars, but i can almost guarantee they will rub on the frame rail.

wow, I just took a look at the full race website and must say I'm sold on their traction bars!

http://www.full-race.com/catal...4_199

I bought jimfab bars for my EF a while back - before full race was making such or I heard of them, but had they been out, I would've purchased the full race ones!

I know which traction bars will be going on my dc2R now.....!

Hi, I also have a DC2 I plan to get traction bars for, but I have one little question. I will be running an ATI Super Damper, which I believe is somewhat bigger than the stock pulley, there won't be any clearance issues between this and the bars?
