Default Clutch sounds like crickets

Been a while since I posted. anyway. We recently installed a Centerforce Dual Friction. Im not sure how long its been doing it but the clutch makes a pinging/chirping noise much like a cricket.

If you push the cluch in about 1-2 inches not even enough to disengage the tranny the noise will stop. I can hear it while Im driving and it sounds faster with engine speed. Could this be my throwout bearing, pilot bearing or what? I am severley annoyed by the sound and the fact that my wifes brother keeps racing my car on the street. I want to blame him but my wife bitches about me trying to play "daddy" to him.......anyway help me out before I go insane and before he breaks the god damn thing.

sometimes the bolts that hold the flywheel together come loose and can cause a metallic rubbing noise. Did you torque the bolts down to specs when you replaced teh clutch?

got the same noise with my ACT 6puck with their T/O bearing. i think my stupid *** mechanic didnt grease it properly and you wouldent believe some of the noises i get out of this thing. Do you have the horsey sound yet ? While letting the clutch out from a stop in 1st it will make what sounds like a horse doin the horse thing. lol T/O bearing for sure.
