Compustar Dealer in Southern Cali?
Anyone know of a place around south california that does good installations? I've called about 4-5 different places and they all seem to charge 699 for the 2W900FM-AS (alarm with remote start). So can anyone recommend a place that does some good work?

Found a place around here. Hope they do a good installation.
Just one last question. The SpreadSpectrum reaches 6000ft, but that's 2001-2002 alarm. The "new" one, the FM900 was released in 2004, but can only reach 3000ft. The place said they could do whichever i want for the same price. So now i'm sort of confused on which one to go with. Which one is better?

1- Do they solder all there connections?
2- Do they remove, [depin without damaging] any wires that are not used, [not just cut them short].
3- Do they give you all the unused wires and all the other "stuff" that comes in the box.
4- What kind of warranty do they give you, what is the warranty on the Compustar? What is the warranty on the install? If you have a problem with alarm, can you just come in and they will fix you right up, or do you need an appointment
! If there is a problem with the alarm will they replace it right away, [over the counter exchange] or do they send it off to be repaired
! If they send it off for repair, do they give you a loner
, or leave you without an alarm
As for what one to go with, I would go with the newer one, evan though it has shorter range, [2 years newer technology] but both are very good and if you need/want the longer range go for it.
