Default Vacum leak!

I have a severe vacum leak, My idle raises and lowers by itself and there is a distinct hissing sound, somewhere by the intake. Today i started pulling off every hose and trying to find the problem, But nothing.

Whats the best way to look for a vacum leak?? and anyone else have similar problem and what was your plan to fix the situation?

Thanks

i dont think pulling hoses will help you find the problem. i use carburator spray to find vacuum leaks. try that.. a can isnt too expensive. just make sure you dont spray on anything hot or you might risk catching the motor on fire. hope that helps a little

What will this do? By spraying the lines will it suck in some cleaner and thus quiet the noise?
