I created a thread asking about the Kumho 711's and didnt get the best reviews...I am looking to replace my current set of Kumho MX's, which I am in love with but cant order another set of them b/c they are on backorder from tirerack.com and nobody can get them local. These are my only options b/c my uncle works at a dealership and thats the only options avail. for ordering me tires. My question is this...If I am in love with the MX's but cant get them, will I be just as happy if not happier with the Bridgestone Potenza RE750's? The ratings on tirerack.com for the RE750's seem somewhat better in the wet traction cat., in the hydro resistance cat., steering response cat., ride comfort cat., noise comfort cat., and tread wear cat. Can you guys shoot me some opinions of the Potenza RE705's compared to the Kumho MX's...I will be using these as a daily driver tire...No auto-x here...Thanks!
I've run RE730's. Try a search on that. The RE750's replaced the 730's. I was pretty happy with the 730's. Pretty good tread design, nice, stiff sidewalls, and pretty good life. I'd say if your car sees 95% road and 5% track, it's not a bad tire at all. I definately like them a LOT better than my current Yoko ES100's(actually trying to sell them to get either MX's, S03's, or even 750's). I'd say if you can get a better deal for the 750's, go for it. And if it doesn't work out for you, I'll buy them off of you (if you get 205/50/25's)
I think the 750's are great. I was a fan of the 730's but found them a bit too noisy for me. I don't have any experience with the Kuhmo's so I can't give you a comparison.

I used to have the Kuhmo Ectesa Supra 712's before i switched to the Potenza RE750's, my car is a DD......reviews are pretty accurate, i noticed better wet traction and noise/ride comfort......with my Kuhmo's, driving over potholes was more jarring, also i hydroplaned a couple of times......hasn't happened yet with my Re750's crosses fingers
