what is the normal idle?

my car idle likes a little below the 1.

and when i turn on my AC, its goes barely above the zero. and my ENGINE starts to Shake real bad.

 

500 rpm.. i dont know about about the engine shake real bad.. normally it would shake a little right when you turn on the A/C. Does it shake continuously?

 

Stock specs are 700 +-50 rpm's for normal idle (no electrical load)

When there is load, the idle should be higher than there is not. My car idles about 760, and when I turn AC on the car idles at ~830

 

the engines shakes real bad for a while... it never use to do this. not only the the engine shakes, i also hear a bad rattling.


the engine stop shaking onc i rev to number 1. oh yeah, i have a teg not a prelude.

 

Have you checked your motor mounts? They could be shot.

 

but it only happends when my AC is on.

my transmission mout is cracked. (the rubber part)
