The kit looked good in my opinion, I would have added a carbon fiber duckbill style wing, carbon fiber hood with JDM headlights, and then put gunmetal with a polished lip wheels on it.

Just curious, but I've got a question..
Are you "de-ricing" cause everyone else is doing it? Or are you doing it cause you want to...cause the car would look pretty nice with the kit on...be different from the others..but to each his own.

Its not a real buddt club kit in the first place
Second the REAL buddy club kit was hot back in 98/99 about 6 years ago before alot of cleaner more functional kits were released for the EK (especially with the 99/00 front end)
Third unless he has a **** load of cash laying around and he drops in a 62-1 powered B18C1 into his EK having a giant gaping hole where a front mount should be is just straight up POSEUR
The poor kid only makes $100 a week I doubt he is gonna drop that kinda cash anytime soon.
I say derice it --- keep it clean and functional and stay away from cheap fiberglass kits
If he ever goes boost I think the CWEST EK front bumper makes more sense anyway but thats just me ---- but it will be a while before he even needs a huge front mount opening

The buddyclub is one of the nicer kits for the ek. Oh well, whatever floats your boat. I think it looked pretty nice before. Would of finished off nicely with a pair of ctr mirrors, si grill and paint matched door handles with jdm thin side moldings
