I know putting this head on will lower my compression but I'm in
a bind right now. What I'm trying to figure it is if i put a b16 head on my stock gsr bottem end with full rev valvetrain and stage 2 skunk 2 cams and maybe mill the head 10 thousanths would that run just like a gsr, or would it be worth it to wait for another gsr head. basically i got the head from my boy for free, or would it be worth it to save and spend money for a gsr head??I didn't think that the b16 heads compression would make that big a difference as apposed to gsr, or would it??

I'm doing the same set up as u and from what i've read it says with the b16 head it will lower ur compression under a stock gsr.. Best way to keep that compression is to get a thinner head gasket or change the pistons.. From what U say I honestly think U should just keep ur head.. Its not a big enough difference tha u will even be able to tell the difference..
