I am not sure what year it was out of. I think a 94 or 95 but I am not sure. I got it from my cousin, and it was in the car he bought. It was rebuilt about 25k miles ago when the LSD was put in.

your asking to much for a messed up tranny. 3rd and 4th gear from dealer is 300+ and fifth is 300+ then labor to get it installed. people could buy a good used type R with a 4.7 fd for that price

HMMM, do you REALLY know what you are talking about? Straight from GEARSPEEDS Post on Honda-tech:

"3/4/5 carbon coated synchro's only $140 shipped" <---this is carbon coated as well. better than stock
"Bearing/Seal rebuild kit $225 shipped" <--- and thats for all the bearings not just one.

SO LETS ADD THIS UP. GOOD GSR Tranny $750 + LSD $350-400 USED = $1000-1050 - bearings and synchros $800-850. I am only asking $650 SHIPPED Shipping to many place will be atleast $50.

I never even said the gears where bad... just the synchros. And it may not be that bad if you are reving to 8100.. I was reving to 9000. and it grinded there a lil. But not lower.

Nope no vin tag. Its legit. I bought from my cousin about 6 months ago, and he has since moved to Cali. Whats so important about a vin tag anyone. I always wondered why people trip on this stuff so much??

That tranny is a 95 which doesn't come with a vin tag but it does some with a sticker vin.

well the year of pressurized engine bay cleaning I suppose it came off, but I don't ever remember it being there but if it was sticker I am sure it did. I had a 95 LS tranny that had a sticker and was barely hanging on when it bit the dust.
