I have a 96 two door integra, got into an accident and I'm converting it to a 98+ body. Got the front bumper cover, headlights, turnsignals and rear taillights. I still need the rear bumper and am wondering are the 4 door rear bumper covers the same as the two doors?

nope its diffrent you'll need a 2dr bumper

Don't forget the side mirrors

How did they change the mirrors? I guess I never looked at the mirrors to see the difference.

 

I believe '96 and up had ridges on the side mirrors. They also came painted to match the body in '98.

98+ was the body change, and it is the model which depended on the painted mirrors I beleive. Gs-R and ITR came with painted mirrors forsure, and the gs,rs,ls came without

 

i dont recall any of the years not having painted mirrors. i have a 94 LS and mine are painted.

 

My mirrors are already painted, but the whole car is getting repainted anyway, going with the 05 TL Abyss Pearl Blue. Should be finished in 2-3 weeks, still waiting for some of the parts to come in. I'll post some pics when its done.

very cheap but from his post he wants the 98+

 

i do believe they dis the body change in 98 but the 97-01 integras have the ridges on the mirrors.

The front and rear bumpers, headlights and taillights were changed in '98. The '96 was the first to come with ridges on the side-mirrors. Body moulding and side-mirror painting depended entirely on trim level in '95 and '97.

-Styling lines were added to the side mirrors in 96. Pre-96 Integras had smooth mirrors
-Side door moldings were color-matched to car’s body color in 97 for LS models and in 95 for SE models
-ODB II Introduced in 1996
-Keys have computer chip built-in in 2000
-Exhaust system changed in 2000
-96 up valve cover on LS is flat across over the cam section, 94-95 cover has raised parts over the cam section.

 

Well to update my saga, I have the front bumper, bought it new from the dealer, got a good price since my wife's uncle is the parts manager. Got the corner lights, fenders and a gsr spoiler off of ebay. The place where I bought the headlights screwed up and I'm still waiting on them. Bought them on May 24 and they just shipped out today.

Haven't decided wether or not to buy the rear bumper or wait and get it later and have the entire car repainted. The shop wanted to much to take all the little dents out of the back and repaint it all now, especially since i'm paying out of pocket with no insurance help. Now if the all red tails would stop going for more then 100 on ebay, i'd have a pair of them by now.
