Default new a/c compressor

hey guys.. my a/c compressor is crap.. thats why it hasnt been blowing clod air.. its been like a few years.. went to get it recharged and the mech told me the compressor is busted and i need a new one..

me question is.. where's a good place to buy one online? is there anyone that can rebuild the a/c compressor? that damn thing is extremely expensive! if ya'll know of any good places.. please me know! thanks

Try ebay i've seen them on there for like $50 or cheeper.

You could pull one off at a junkyard....just have to be careful! Of course you run the risk of it being crap as well.

A lot of guys on here who have removed their ac have all the **** laying around. Just ask!

like me, im selling mine. when i got my motor sleeved/built i decided to pull the a/c. its in perfect mint condition has about 23,XXX miles on it, its off my 2001

Be careful buying one online man. Compressors are a lot of many and very easily have problems. I dont know where chula vista is but off the 5 freeway and euclid in CA there is a shop called Kool Air they do good rebuilds for like $150. Remember to replace reciever drier and all o-rings when you do the compressor.
