My brothers 98 sh dosent go faster than 145mph my cuzins non-sh gose 155. His prelude is tuned a drop more than my brothers SH, anyone know whats wroung or is my cuzin full of it?
iono.. i think ur cuzin is tellin the truth.. ive seen a base lude with nuthin but a CAI, do over 160 on the freeway.. so its possible. and for the SH, ATTS uses some power, so it might have a lower top speed...
I'm sure you're losing a tad of power...and if drag is limiting you then it could make sense.
Either way, why the hell are you going so fast?

unless you got a built up tranny with different gear ratios, you arent going to see 160. 150 is the max on the stock tach. And its not even 150 when you hit it.
and i agree that going that fast is stupid. Unless you have a car fast enough to get up there and get back down to speed really fast. Which is doesnt sound like you have.

depends on the tranny, but most are redline limited at 155.9 mph. If he can overcome the wind resistance at that speed in the lude is another story.

omg omg! top speed races!! omg!
i hope u die.
stop driving so fast on public roads. if ur going to go WOT, go wot in 2nd gear. that way, you will be limited to 45-50 mph. get a f22 tranny and build a 300+ whp engine and it will send u into really high speeds. get rid of all ur weight in the car because it creates more drag.

coffee, red bull, candy, yellowjackets <- all readily available at the gas station. studies have shown that driving tired is as bad as driving drunk for reaction time purposes.

power makes no difference on top speed. argue it over the power to drag coefficient all you want but having .01whp more or 50whp more isn't going to make you go faster. it will just get you there quicker.
