GPR or Scotts Damper?
what are the differences? any real world experience with both to lay out the ups and downs between these two brands? which would you think has benefits in certain areas? any info to help myself and others make this decision between dampers would be exceptional.
The reason I am looking for a Scotts over GPR is because for my RC, the GPR kit uses their own fairing stay...which I don't like.
I had heard that Scotts is built by Ohlins. Also with the Scotts you can use it on any bike, you just have to have the mounting bracket.

the actual gpr unit is just like the scotts/ohlins one; can be used on any bike with a mounting kit. i like gpr because they will service your damper for free for life and they are local to me and backlash.

they are really good about customer service; i've heard of people losing hardware and gpr sending them new stuff for free. as for service; they will change the viscosity in your damper or change out the old fluid for free anytime.

. go with a ohlins if possible. here in vegas top mounts are bad cause the heat causes the oil to thin out way too much
