Quaife LSD in '01 Prelude - Help from the guys that have one
I've installed 3 other Quaife units in H tranny's and this is the first one that is giving me problems.
The OEM bolts (part #5 below) will not fit into the Quaife. The Quaife's holes are much larger for some reason. Either I was sent the wrong LSD or I was never told I need to use a different size bolt for this unit. Have any of you guys ran into this before? Because I have not and I'm not too happy.
I pulled up part numbers for this bolt from 92-01 and they all use the same size.

Sounds like the wrong one. I've installed several of them using the OEM bolts. Contact quaife and they should be able to help. Hopefully you have not installed the bearings on the LSD yet...
Quaife just called me back. I got sent an RSX diff.
Son of a bitch.
The bearings and VSS gear are all on

They run around the $900 range... takes a few hours for installation. The only pain in the *** really is taking the LSD to have the new bearings and VSS gear pressed on. I could do it in shop... but I've knicked the VSS gear before when trying to remove it in the past.
