Default New times on DR's and DOT's

So I tried the M&H DOT 205/60/13 and my old BFG 205/50/15's and here are the results I think the weather had a big effect on the results...... last year I ran 13.2@ 106 on the BFGs......
Track was ok alittle cold so didn't hook as good as I should was hitting 2.0's 60ft's on the street tires (drag radials) I hit a few 12.9's @ 110mph that's 4 mph more then last year so some of the changes I made are working for sure I had the back intrerior out but the front was in ie: carpet door panels center consol.
I aslo ran my new tires M&H DOT drag tires I ran 12.8 @ 109 with only 1.9 60fts if the track was warm I would hook better.
I'm still running my shitty header and crush bent exhaust and I haven't been to the dyno yet so I'm really happy with my results. Rob

i just wanted to see how they were on a ef chassis. i'm wondering if this is a decent alternative to slicks, still run decent times, but maybe less breakage??

So i assuming these are the DOT Slicks right, the bias-ply deals which look pretty much like slicks just with like 2 little channels?
Great times man, i plan on using those on my 91 hatch.

</TD></TR></TABLE>damm dude, i wish i could run that mph. but with all the weight in my crx the best i have ran on dot tires(bfg dr), is 13.1@102.5mph. but about those m&h tires, you'll be hitting 1.8 60' times in no time. that's what i was getting about a year ago, when i picked those up from john. heat them up good, and find a good launching rpm! trust me, they hook!

rob when i ran the tires, i would dump the clutch at 4500. i forgot the exact psi on the tires, but i can tell you i never went lower than 10 psi. and the lower the psi, the lower the mph was going to be(rolling resistance)!

i don't think you can use that tire here rob, its not a drag radial, acording to the rules so just in case bring both tires, i am sure the class is sposored like the nhra one is by bfg,

i am going to be there racing in street a/m, come by and say hi my crx is flat back i have the integra mesh rims on it, rob if you want try to pit beside me, i am trailering it there cause i just finished it i have no plates, i will be there earlier in the day.

Cool mark I will look for you...... are you running the street class? and I think I can run the DOT's cause they said there were following CSCS rules and your allowed to run them. But I will bring both just in case. Rob

Eh Rob, glad to see that the crx is running good. Let me know if you need a new FP gauge, I'll get it in for you. Check out the russell 0 to 100 psi gauge that is liquid-filled, it will resist vibration alot better and last alot longer. It is cheaper than the B&M too. Nice times Rob , I'll see you 06/18/05, Mike
