hey guys...i'm looking for the following parts. where can i get a K&N filter for my stock air box? Just any ol' auto supply store? Also, I'm looking for a skunk2 front strut bar, I saw one on groupbuycenter, but they guy's feedback swayed me away.

any help is appreciated...btw: 88 CRX Si

 

i dunno about the bar, but the K&N can be bought at any auto parts store, like at my work, Kragen, the part number is 33-2025 (i think) ill check it again

thats one hella clean valve cover, what did you use to clean it up?

 

Its stripped bare and repainted with about 5 coats of semi-gloss black hi-temp paint. Also i shaved the vtec off of it as well.

Hey Todd...thanks for the info. Are you sure the link you gave me is the correct application for my 88 CRX Si?? It says 92-00 Honda Civic/94+ Acura Integra (front). ...Just double checking!

Yeah skunk2 only lists it up til the 92 i believe, but it will fit anything from 88 on. The bar i have on my car was previously on a 99 civic si. (I have the rear bar on too )

hmmm... interesting. so any front bar that fits an EG will also fit an EF? does that go for DC2 bars as well since they fit EGs?

 

Well i think it would be safe to assume so, since they make one bar that seemingly works on every chassis. There is the off chance that it wouldnt work, but the bar lined up perfectly on my ef chassis, so id assume its gonna work on that too.

It might have to be adjustable(the skunk2 looks like it is one side)not one-piece.....

 

I'm wrong.I just looked at the pic again-the skunk2 is not adjustable,but it is a 3 piece design.......

 

skunk2, feels, zspeed,spoon all of these front upper bars will look like the one in one tha hatch there all the same producers and the same quality.so you can stay in the skunk realm or look elsewear.
