ITR ABS pump fix for EP3/DC5 with ITR Brembos?
When you upgrade to the Brembos on an EP3 or USDM DC5 the ABS programming which is based on a certain pressure becomes off (with the larger force exerted by the brembos vs. stock USDM calipers)...
Would adding the ITR ABS pump/modulator correct this? I would think so, but looking for some more knowledgeable persons to comment on it... Also do the hard brake lines match up in the right spots on the different ABS units?
Also although I know you don't need the master cylinder from the ITR, has anyone with a USDM DC5 or EP3 swapped the ITR master cylinder in? Is it a direct bolt up with the brake booster etc...?
Besides the pain of bleeding off an ABS unit, is there anything else to consider besides actual direct bolt up issues?
Thanks, Oce

I just want to make sure what's happening here.
You have replaced your OEM USDM EP3 brake calipers with the Brembo calipers, and the ABS sensors are still mounted, right?
And you have symptoms now when you try to threshold brake?

Ive been tracking my DC5 type S, converted to an R spec now for about a year or so. Still running the Type S brake booster and all of the OE brake sensors and ABS unit. I havent experienced any issues on or off track. the ABS seems to work just as well as it did before the brake swap. So maybe the Type S proportioning is closer to that of the Type R than the EP3 brake set up is?
