ARP wheel studs or OEM stock for racing
I have a CRX that I'm in the process of turboing, and will use mainly for drag racing on the weekends. I have one wheel stud that needs to be replaced, so I'm wondering if I should put new OEM replacements back in, or upgrade to ARP wheel studs?
One person I've talked to say the stockers will be fine, and another says to upgrade. BTW, I'm hoping for ~300 hp. TIA

ARP and Skunk 2 extended wheel studs were designed to meet drag and road racing safety requirements. Some rules require that a quarter of an inch of stud must be seen through the lug nut. This is a safety rule to make sure the wheel is secure with enough threads so it doesn't fall off. Some people do it the wrong way and use stock studs with wheel spacers and different offset wheels and the lugnuts only grab so many threads. I have the skunk 2 studs and I love 'em, plus I think they look cool sticking out. I guess it depends on what type of racing you are doing or if you plan on using different offset wheels or spacers.
NHRA rulebook: "All wheel studs must project into the hex portion of the lug nut by a distance equal to one diameter of the stud."
"ARP’s heat-treated 8740 chromemoly wheel studs are a much needed replacement for any car engaged in high performance driving or racing competition. They have a tensile strength of 190,000 psi and are able to easily handle the tremendous acceleration shock loads (shear) and lateral forces (elongation) found in racing."
