Default Whats compatible?

sorry but another newb question...but how do I know what transmissions fit my 98 LS....and another question how do I keep my synchros from going out I think it's about to give out again....I don't think i'm a bad driver....the highest my rpms are when I shift are about 6500 or 6800...thanks in advance...
I searched but just couldn't find anything...any good websites that sell transmissions at reasonable prices?

That's about as high as they'll go in an LS anyway.

Go for a B16 tranny, and b series transmission will fit. Make sure its hydro unless you feel like doing the conversion.
