VHT, or I used dupli color black. Be forewarned, the learning curve is very steep on wrinkle finish paint, be prepared, and buy enough material to do the job about 3 times...and buy a heat gun.

Why not shave them off all together?

Heck even the ground wires for the spark plugs are in the same shapes!

and the pic of the valve cover looks nearly the same in the thread he just made.

I never said they werent too different pics, I was implying that by the look of the spark plug and other wires it looked like he never even pulled off the valve cover. I know they're two differnt pics if you right click and see the url you didnt have to bust out your mad photo analyzing skillz.

I can't see a difference at all, the spark plug wire grounds are the exact same in both pics and so is the spot next to the "H" on the "HONDA."

I'm not saying he didn't paint it, just saying the pictures are the same.

Check out the brown-ish breather hose. It goes in two different directions. Also there is a while/silver line that is in the second pic, but not the first. It looks like it is from the intake to the dizzy(?)

EDIT: I dont know why the hell i bumped this, not even sure how i viewed it as I was not searching for info on painting....sorry for being the morning idot!

Man I just love how no matter what it is or is about, There is always someone wanting to doubt the word/work of others on here and try to prove otherwise. Why is that? Rather than come to read or enjoy the board people would rather WASTE time investigating a pic to see if its the same or not.
Who really cares if he repainted it or not, If he did in fact respray it he done a great job. Give the guy props......

The only reason it was doubted is because it looks like a brand new OEM (JDM) cover and if thats the case everyone's going to be dissapointed when they try to use the wrinkle paint and find out its a lot harder to use and get consistant good results, that looks like brand new OEM, and I've used the paint and its very hard to get good consistant results.

BTW this was a bad reason to bring back from the dead.
