Yeah, I know thats a sorry *** time!

So here is the setup
b20 block 12:1 compression, skunk2 Stage 2 cams, hondata tuned, jg intake b16 head, headertech header, 2 1/2 all the way back in a 92 honda civic CX. It does have extra weight from added power windows and door locks along with a widebody that was already on the car. No power steering or ac. B16 transmission with NO LSD.

The suspension has koni reds with some kind of coilovers, no urethane bushings, 00 Si front and back brakes along with front and rear swaybar. We were running this car on Toyo Proxes T1-S.

Car spins through first, 2nd and 3rd. I have tried to look for tires... about the only thing I saw were 22x8 inch micky thompson slicks or toyo RA-1 tires (225//50/15)

I know traction bars would help, along with a LSD and stiffer springs in the rear.... but as far as tires go.. what direction should we look in?

 

i would go with the m/t slicks, or at least some bfg drag radials.

what did your trap speeds look like?

 

what was you 60ft like and trap? was this on street tires

also I was looking at some bfg 225/50/15 think this would drop us in the 13s at least?
