Default ITR vs. GSR suspension geometry: really that different?

Well i was thinking recently that the ITR is known for its best handling FWD capabilities and the normal tegs are never even brought up. From what ive seen, the only difference APPEARS to be the increase in spring rate and better shocks. so is this really all the magic to teh type-r or is there completely different geometry to the suspension?

on difference i see is that the chassis
is stiffer(thought I doubt it's enough to be even noticeable)

springs/shocks,

and the real big difference, the big *** rear swaybar w/built in tiebar in the back..

ITR's are also lighter, afaik.

every suspension part has the SAME exact geometry as normal tegs. (not all the same parts but suspension mounting points are all the same.)

Big, big difference is in the bushing materials. ITR has stiffer bushings than GSR et al.

Also rear suspension is quite different (although geometry is the same) Different LCAs etc.

Also ITR ride height is lower from factory.

The question is - can you make a regular Teg handle as well as or better than a stock ITR? The answer - yes but with compromises - either is will ride rougher or have less suspension travel or be much more expensive.

Overall it's hard to beat those Honda engineers. They gave up some NVH for better handling and did it at a reasonable price.

Same:
rear UCAs & bushings
rear compensator arms & bushings
front UCAs & bushings
front swaybar
front LCAs & bushings
front knuckles & balljoints

Different:
rear LCAs (same geometry)
rear trailing arms (same geometry but probably different bushing)
rear swaybar
rear swaybar bushings
rear swaybar end link bushings
front & rear shocks
front & rear springs
front & rear upper shock mount bushings
front swaybar bushings
front swaybar endlink bushings
front LCA compliance bushings (same geometry)
