Default Will vtec b18 head gasket fit non vtec??

Will vtec b18 head gasket different than non-vtec b18a1 head gasket?
Also, does B18b head gasket the same as b18a OR all B-series engine head gasket are the same.

Im thinkin it's both the same, but just wanna make sure.

TIA

Aside from the vtec oil passage, a gsr/b16 head gasket has different dowel pin holes. Use the gasket that is used for your motor. B18a/b are the same. And gsr/b16 /hype-r are the same.

Its alot of work to find out if it is going to leak, i would try to stick to the same exact engine parts. (B18 non vtec, even specify the year) Race Engineering .com is good help with that (but of course youll pay more than ebay.

Maybe you could find someones old B18B or B18A head gasket and compare BEFORE you rip apart.

im thinking of just using this head gasket for my 1991 B18a1 (integra GS) engine. I will not be using this head gasket for a LS/Vtec combo.

Just checked out Race Engineering.com, but it's up for sale haha

The question is, will this gasket fit my b18a1 (1991 integra GS) engine??
I will definitely check out a old B18a1 head gasket to see if it's correct.

No because you plug the oil passage in the head, and tap an external one. The b18a/b blocks don't have the oil passage, therefore you would see major leaks if this were not done. Furthermore, the vtec head gasket won't fit the non-vtec motor because of said oil passage hole, and the dowel pin size difference. Do what everyone else says and just use the head gasket that's intended for your motor.
