SI map sensor on HF
ok i want to replace the whole map sensor/vaccum line routing in my HF with an SI one. the HF has 4 vaccum lines coming off it going to the motor, but the SI only has 2. Since i have an SI motor, i dont have the EGR valve, which is where one of the extra lines went to. also on the HF there was another line going into the manifold but on the SI there isnt. So i have 2 extra lines hanging. Does anyone have any pics of how the SI lines are routed so i can figure this out without having vaccum issues?
when i did the hf to sohc zc( like the si) all i did was run the hf map sensor and all the rest i threw away never had a problem since. just caped off the lines on the Intake manifold. and there was no plug for the EGR. and the fast idle on the back will not have a plug as well.

you can have them gone. just unscrew the map sensor from the rest of the unit and you wont have all those vacuum lines. just the map sensor, and i believe when i did this i only had one line, not two.
