I have a question.... Is it possible to regrind the GSR Cams to the ITR cams or CTR Cams specs? any help would be great... Let me know ASAP. Thanks

 

I would think that the cost to get this done would be pretty high, in which case youd probably be better off just buying a set of itr cams and selling the gsr cams. Ive never done it before personally so dont take my word for it. Also id think that bc the itr cams have larger lobes, you would have to start with cams that were bigger than itr cams to grind them down to match the stock lift and duration. my .02

 

Reground cams are weaker. They can do it by turning away the base circle of the cam makeing the lobe higher lift in relationship to the new lesser base circle.

But the cams are hollow so I don't rec. it.
it was either comp cams or crane cams that reground cams back in the day for imports. but there was a problem with the cams breaking.

Just buy the ctr or itr cams if you want to be cheap/cost effective.
