Default m/t 24.5x8x13 slicks? on stock axles

what do you think about m/t 24.5x8x13 slicks on crx stock axles?
i have been using 20x8x13's and got a best of 12.6@110, but usually get consistant 13.0-2 launching at 4,500rpm and get mad wheel spin.

I would go w/ some 22's if I were you but if you must, your axle life will depend on your driving style. I ran 24.5's on OE axles launching @ 6500+ and they held up fine. Preloading is key to saving axles and other drivetrain parts.

yeah I want to go with 22 or 23 mandh but got the m/t 24.5 for 40 bux used so i figured I'll use them up.
how can you preload,, if I let off the clutch a little it causes the car to mover forward at the staging line

I would sell the 24.5's and make a profit on them then, get the 22's or 23's. You must use the e-brake (like I do) or a staging brake to hold the car form moving. I think the 24.5's will bog you hard off of the line.
