Sup guys, I was having a water problem with the back seats of my ek hatch, the seats are always wet idk where the water is comin from, im thinkin of takin em out to check it out, but idk how to. If some1 can post some directions on how to remove the back seats id apprecaite it, or hlep me solve the problem thankx....

 

A little to the right of the center of the seat in the crack b/t the bottom and back there is a screw. You will have to pull the foam away to see it. Take that out and lift up on the front and the bottom should pop right out. I've had the problem of mine getting wet before. I took the seat out and found that there was a hole like a drain of some sort. I plugged it up w/ some jbweld and havent had a problem since. Hope this helps

 

If your spare tire well is flooded with water too then it is most likely the rear taillight rubber gasket seals that are the problem. They leaked in my 99 hatch as well as the majority of 96-00 hatch owners on this message board. Go to the dealership or order them online for a few bucks a piece. They are very easy to install.
