hey, i got a 90 crx hf and i hate how the stock hf revs to 5700 so i decided to swap a pm6 ecu in so i can rev to atleast 6500-7000. but the rev limiter is still kicking in at 5700. its not throughing any codes. i just think the intake man and the throttle body are so damn small, its just restricting the hell out of it. i got an si manifold im about to swap up there for now. any input would be great

my old stock hf red lined at 5K.....you are kicking a dead horse with that hf motor.

 

i tryd the same thing when i was trying to blow up my hf motor and the cam will not allow it to revv over 5500 because it is an 8 valve poop tird cracker jack box that gets 35mpg even with zdyne gold and 9lbs of boost and a y8 intake it wont revv past 5500 rpm's and that motor still ran fine well just smokd a lill
