Default Axle Problem

Hey all,

I just finished swapping in a new axle on my 90 Civic w/ b16 swap. Anyways, the axle swapped is the drivers side. I took the car out on a drive and when I step on the gas a little the car violently turns left. First thing I thought was that I didn't get the axle in properly and only the passenger side axle was putting the power down. Jacked up the car, tried to push the axle in more, drove it and same thing. When I turn the intermediate shaft, the axle turns. When I turn the tire on the oppossed side and it's in gear, the axle turns. Someone give me some feedback on what you think. Anybody happen to have a pic of the axle pressed up agaisn't the intermidiate shaft, to see if mine installed right?? Lastly, I went up from a 13" rim to a 14". Could that have made a difference? TIA

It's not the alignment. The alignment was done on the bigger rims two weeks ago(Should have mentioned this). Secondly, just swapped the 13's back on, still does the same thing. And it only does it when on the gas, the car will go straight when not on the gas.

Double check to make sure you got the right axle.

Also jack the car up with the wheel on, and spin the wheel. Is there any binding at all ? Does it spin freely ?

Well I have the exact same car as you, I did my axle swap a while back with some stronger Si axles because of my brake upgrade. Now, everything went fine, but I think what you might have done is bent one of your radius rods driving around or something. The other day I was driving around durnker then ****, I ran over a manhole and BOOM! it slammed into my front crossmember and fucked it up. Now whenever I let go of the wheel my car almost seems like its trying to do a u-turn to the left. Hope this helps.

Well stupid me returned the core, so the only axle I could double check the lenght agaisn't is a 90 Integra WITH Abs. I'm not sure if the abs axels are different, but the new axle is a different lenght ( 1/2 inch shorter). I'm almost a 100% sure it's the new axle that's the problem. I'm going to return it now and get my core and measure it up to it. Also, i'm spinning the wheel and nothing is binding

No I haven't hit anything. The car was driving fine before I touched the axle. I just swapped the axle in, and drove it down the street and it was pulling when I gave throttle.

I don't have any shacking issues. The car just pulls violently when I give throttle.
