Wow, Im a diehard clean freak and tried alot of products on the market. I just tried Meguiars NXT Wax. Amazing stuff! I liked it so much I bought the NXT wash, Window cleaner, Tire dressing and the wax. Anyone use the metal polish or interior dressing products yet?

i think i saw it at kragens for like 18 bucks a bottle. a little high for wax, but almost all the show guys i know use it to get their high gloss shines.

paint looks nice top it off with Meguires quick detailer and then take pics and compair

I don't guess you have a before pic do you? It would make more of an impression if we knew what it looked like before. It looks good now though.

are you sure thats actually 15 year old paint ... are you the original owner

looks like everything has been repainted since it doesnt have the stock bumper/ side panels/ mirrors/ hood/ wings .... when places paint these parts they blend the color onto the next panel to make it match ..

but the product looks good you gotta get some before pics and closer shots

 

Cost $15 bucks for the wax. Kinda high but seems worth it.

I have owned this car since 96 and the 1 owner before me never had it resprayed. Only thing that has been sprayed are the mirrors, door handles, kit etc just to match the car.

Yea no offense but how sure are you that it's the original paint on the car. I personally highly doubt it b/c of what was already mentioned above (mirrors, bumpers, skirts, wings, etc...). Is that even an OEM color?

 

It's a OEM color, it comes on the DX civic's........ mine is the same color

 

Yes factory color "R67m" Chianti Red. DX's are this color "They usually have black bumpers"

Everything not factory has been painted only to match the color, so no blending etc to the factory paint. Tuff crowd

 

NXT works really well. In fact I just used some on my truck the other night, really good results.

 

wow paint still looks fresh, and clean ride also

 

SHINY, BUT NOT AS SHINY AS MINE.. Plus mine is original paint, yours is not.




ps: the camera i used is garbage.. only if it was better !?!?!?!...... lol
btw: i used mothers products, and i dont work for mothers.

It isnt 15 year old paint. Did you buy the car fixed up? Shaved emblem?

first of all, the bodykit paint matches the rest of the paint perfectly..(if it was 15 year old paint, it would be faded, especially since it's red)
secondly, wheres the front H" emblem ?
lastly, I dont beleive that is a stock color for that year EF.could be wrong though
the car is repainted...
