Default What would you pay for a 99 SI (EBP)

I have been looking for an SI for the past few weeks only to be disappointed by what I found (rebuilt titles, theft recoveries, crashes...)

Yesterday I spotted an add stating "this is the cleanest SI in town".
I went to see it this morning and the car was flawless (aside from few rock chips on the front bumper and hood). The car has 78K miles and only one owner. It still sits the stock height and has the stock wheels. It comes with a DC intake, 4-2-1 header, stainless steel cat back and rear tie bar. The car also comes with the factory rear spoiler (which i am not too fond of so i may remove it if I buy the car).

The owner wanted 12.5K but we agreed on 11K. In you opinion is this price good for this type of car or is it too much?

opinions are welcome

I would love to but its just too far away. I like to see my cars up close and personal before buying it.

$9,500 MAX. My opinion anyways.

You're not getting THAT great of a car. Plus, EXTREMELY high theft rate. Plus, extra insurance on the Si model compared to an EX/LX/DX/etc...etc...etc...

KBB is at $9,000. So, no, not worth it.

I really can't conceive paying more than what a car is really worth. But that's just me...

Well, I did not get 10K so we agreed on 11K. Insurace for me is less than $100/Month and I have GAP insurance (screw LoJack, I dont want the car back if it gets stripped or damaged) Car and insurance will be about $290.00 per month (lovely).

I dont feel too bad overpaing $1000.00. SI's around here are not that cheap (only found $10K-12.5K) and most looked like ****.

11k would be fine if it didn't have the mods. But assuming it was taken care of go for it if ITS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT.

that's an ok price. if it's what you want, get it, just be aware of the KBB price. Also, check the oil in that bad boy. Don't forget to check for oil spilling out of the exhaust. good luck-1
